According to Thai media reports, at 5:10 p.m. on September 4, 2025, at Don Mueang Airport’s private aviation terminal, earlier reports indicated that former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin was preparing to leave the country on a private jet bound for Singapore. He was accompanied by three people and had informed authorities that he would return the following day.
Outside the terminal, luxury cars were parked with Don Mueang Police vehicles stationed nearby. Among them was the official car of Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Suriya, though it departed earlier.
At 7:17 p.m., a private jet took off from Don Mueang Airport. Reporters checked via the FLIGHTRADAR24 app and found that the aircraft’s destination was not displayed. Its flight path headed south of Thailand. The aircraft was a Bombardier Global 7500, matching the type previously reported as Thaksin’s private jet.
At 7:20 p.m., a luxury Mercedes Maybach with license plate “พร 195 Bangkok” exited Don Mueang Airport. This was the same vehicle used by Thaksin on June 18 when he attended a hearing at the Criminal Court regarding Section 112 of the Penal Code, as well as during his visits to the Pheu Thai Party headquarters.
Thai media later confirmed that Thaksin, accompanied by five family members including his daughter Paetongtarn, had traveled to Singapore for private matters. Thaksin submitted an application for an exit permit related to the Police Hospital 14th floor case (whether he was feigning illness) and filed the necessary documents with the Immigration Bureau, pledging to return on the afternoon of September 5 to await the verdict in his 14th case, scheduled for September 9. The Immigration Bureau subsequently stamped his passport with an exit permit.
